Motor enthusiast Laurie Weeks found soft water was the answer to prevent white streaks spoiling the look of his prized 1948 classic sports car. His Wife Sue is also overjoyed as the soft water leaves windows and worktops streak free, keeps clothes soft after washing, makes her hair and skin feel soft, stops kettles and irons from clogging up with lime-scale, taps stay crust free and water pipes do not narrow.
Sue now drinks eight glasses of water a day. Filtered water systems make drinking water and cups of tea taste good and gives food extra flavour after cooking. Laurie (72) says, "With the water softener fitted, life is so much better. It has made a major change to our lifestyle".
Simon & Ali Morgan
Simon bought his first water softener from us back in 2010 after reading about the benefits of soft water when washing the car. Simon is a classic car owner and was thrilled to discover that when the car was washed with softened tap water it didn't dry with white marks all over where the minerals had been deposited on the paintwork! These minerals scratch the paint when water is leathered off which isn't good when the car has an expensive paint job.
As an added bonus the taps in his house don't fur up either and soap usage is reduced considerably. He says these things are secondary to the benefits for his old car but his wife disagrees!
